Executive Master of Industrial Distribution

 The Industrial Distribution Program within the Dwight Look College of Engineering at Texas A&M University offers the first Executive Master of industrial Distribution (MID) degree program in the world. Unlike MBA programs that provide a generalized course of study, Executive MID is a two-year lockstep program that facilitates the application of cutting edge theory to real-world projects. Also, because Executive MID is an Online Degree Program, busy executives may complete coursework from anyplace in the world on a 24/7 basis. Designed as a cohort program, participants benefit from the experience of their fellow students and from a highly-qualified faculty. This lockstep program requires 30 hours of coursework and consists of five semesters over a two year program. Students take the same courses each semester as do their peers. A two-week residency period (one each year) is also required. Residency weeks are held in College Station, Texas in mid-August. The Executive MID Program is ideally suited for employees with 5-10 years experience from the following firms:

  • Distributors
  • Suppliers (manufacturers)
  • Service Providers
  • Logistics and Third Party (3PL)
  • Consulting

Who are seeking:

  • A degree that directly applies to their profession;
  • To enhance their skill and knowledge levels in order to advance both within their company and their industry;
  • To make a meaningful career change and develop skills that are most valued in the marketplace.
