Howdy and Welcome to the Engineering Technology Listserv! We currently serve over 3700 members at over 800 institutions in 30 countries and all 50 of the states in the United States. (View Members)
The purpose of the listserv is to allow members of the Engineering Technology Division (ETD) of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) to post notices pertinent to engineering technology matters, such as job openings, grant opportunities, chances to be a NSF Reviewer, an ABET Evaluator, notices about professional meetings, opportunities to present papers, and ask questions.
Please take great care that the messages you send to the Listserv have general interest to the entire Engineering Technology community. Also, please encourage responses to yourself only, and then you can summarize them to the entire Listserv. This will help in cutting down on Listserv traffic. Another item to note is that you should not use attachments. We strip them to prevent viruses. You should therefore paste the information from attachments into the body of your e-mail message.
When you are replying to a message on the Listserv, please be sure that you "Reply" and not "Reply All," again cutting down on traffic. We have had people unsubscribe from the Listserv out of irritation with extraneous messages. If you have any problems, please contact me at buchananw@tamu.edu.
