The theories and applications of metal deformation processes within the context of the hydroforming process are introduced. The process enables the automative industry to reduce cost while improving structure performance and reducing weight of vehicles.
Lean Operations, Quality, Work In Progress (WIP), Utilization, Lead-Time and Throughput
This is an applications oriented course where the participant will learn the relationship among important concepts including Lean Operations, Quality, Work In Progress (WIP), Utilization, Lead-Time and Throughput, and learn how to apply this knowledge to performance assessment, continuous improvement, and management of production operations. In this course, the participants will have the opportunity to apply learnt concepts in their own work environment. The course material is based on advanced operations research; however, the participants are not required to have this knowledge.
