Stepper Motor Control

This page is produced as a tutorial for the theory, design, and implementation of a virtual instrument to control a digital stepper motor.  By using the information in this page you will be able to build a National Instruments VI (Virtual Instrument) to accurately control a stepper motor and furthermore understand the theory associated with it.  The links below will explain the portion of the PCI-1200 that is used to generate the digital output signals, the software that controls the motor, and the theory on how stepper motors actually work.
