Overview

For a specialized, hands-on approach to a career in theTelecommunications industry, look no further than Texas A&M University's Telecommunications Engineering Technology department. The TET Program combines laboratories and courses to give students hands-on experience; experience other graduates sometimes lack. 

Telecommunications Engineering Technology is accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission (TAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). 

The Telecommunications Engineering Technology faculty has established a Mission Statement and a set of Educational Outcomes and Program Objectives to guide the development of the Program.

EET/TET Students WIN!
Four EET/TET students submitted their ENTC 420 project idea to the Center for New Ventures and Entrpreneurship's New Ideas Contest and walked away with first place and $3,000. EET/TET Welcomes 3 New Faculty Members
Dr. Ryan Beasley, from Harvard University;

Dr. Ana Goulart, from Georgia Tech; and Dr. Wei Zhan, from TRW Automotive have joined the EET/TET faculty this fall. Welcome!

Mon., June 18 :
Last day for all students to drop courses with no penalty.

Fri., June 29 :
Last day of first term classes.

Mon., July 2:
First term final exams. Last day to register for second term and pay fees.

Tue.., July 3:
First day of second term classes.

Wed., July 4:
Independence Day Holiday.
