The College of Engineering at Texas A&M recently awarded four ETID faculty with prestigious awards at Award CeremonyThe awards ceremony took place at the Miramont Country Club in College Station on April 23rd, 2008.

Dr. Jorge L. Alvarado was presented with the TEES Select Young Faculty Award 2008-2009 for his outstanding research performance and scholarly activities.

Mr. Norm Clark was presented with the college level Association of Former Students Distinguished Achievement Award in Teaching for his outstanding teaching performance and involvement with students outside the classroom environment.

Dr. Joe Morgan was presented with the 2008-2009 Dwight Look College of Engineering Faculty Fellow Award. This award is presented to individuals who have demonstrated continued excellence in teaching, research, and service.

Mr. Matt Whiteacre was presented with the 2008-2009 Charles W. Crawford Service Award. This award is presented to individuals who have made significant service contributions to the College of Engineering and Texas A&M University.
